How we verify results

A wrong number is worse than a late one. We publish a result only after it has been announced and several independent sources show the same number.

The steps

1. Wait for the announcement. Nothing is published before the result has been announced. Until then the round shows "--" and the status is Pending.
2. Collect from independent sources. We look at the result as shown by more than one source that does not copy from the others. Sites that republish each other's numbers count as one source.
3. Compare. The First Round and Second Round numbers must match across the sources, digit for digit.
4. Publish or hold. If the required number of sources agree, the result is published and the page records how many sources confirmed it. If they disagree, the round stays Pending until the difference is settled.

Status labels

• Pending: not announced yet, or not yet confirmed by enough sources.
• Published: announced and confirmed.
• Off day: no draw was held that day.
